Early Life and Career
Ebrahim Raisi was born on 14 September 1960 in Mashhad, Iran. He is a conservative Iranian politician and cleric who has served as the eighth president of Iran since 2021. He was previously head of the Judiciary of Iran from 2019 to 2021 and was the Attorney General of Iran from 2014 to 2016.
Marriage and Family
In 1983, Ebrahim Raisi married Jamileh Alamolhoda, the daughter of Mashhad's Friday Prayer Imam Ahmad Alamolhoda. They have two children, a son and a daughter.
